Kahori Kamiya was born in Nagoya, Japan and moved to New York, where she
received her MFA in fine art from the School of Visual Arts.
Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in New York, Los
Angeles, Houston, Montreal, Ukraine, Russia, Thailand, and Japan.
In 2009, she was the recipient of an award for the Russian Art-Week International
Competition of Contemporary Arts. In 2010, Kamiya was a winner of “Top
40”of the Los Angeles Center for Digital Art in LA.
Also, her video works are screened at a several of International film and video festivals.
She currently lives and works in New York.
